What You Will Do
- Providing daily quality assurance support for supplied products
- Handling non-conforming supplier products
- Defining and maintaining the quality control plan related to each product
- Organizing blocking activities for defective products
- Managing the process of returning defective products to the supplier
- Identifying the root causes of supplier quality issues in collaboration with suppliers and implementing effective quality solutions using the 8D methodology
- Continuously monitoring and improving supplier quality
- Conducting supplier quality assurance audits – if necessary, together with the SQE
- Reporting critical quality issues
- Organizing and coordinating rework or sorting activities by the supplier, external company, or Harman
- Defining and minimizing costs arising from non-conforming quality (COPQ) in the supply chain
- Implementing corrective actions at the supplier quality level and for costs arising from non-conforming quality
What You Need to Be Successful
- Higher education in a relevant field
- Confident user-level computer skills (MS Office, SAP)
- Independent, confident, constructive, and proactive work attitude
- Above-average problem-solving skills and quick decision-making ability
Bonus Points if You Have
- Experience with ISO TS / IATF and VDA
- Relevant professional experience in a similar field
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, 5W, SPC, CP, FMEA, PPAP, and APQP tools and methods
- Outstanding analytical skills
