About this role:

As an Infrastructure Engineering Senior Manager within Enterprise Functions Technology at Wells Fargo, you will lead efforts to integrate cloud and on-premise platforms, enabling seamless operations across hybrid infrastructure environments. This role requires deep technical expertise to design, implement, and maintain automated integration pipelines that accelerate deployment, testing, and scaling of infrastructure and applications. You will also be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and compliance of the EFT technology landscape by driving timely modernization initiatives and orchestrating patching processes. The team’s scope includes managing platform updates, applying security patches, remediating vulnerabilities and end-of-life components, and executing configuration changes across diverse environments.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop Infrastructure Engineers in roles with moderate complexity and risk
  • Lead project teams to support network and communication implementations
  • Ensure the Information Technology infrastructure is always functioning as effectively as possible
  • Oversee Information Technology infrastructure across multiple locations
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals
  • Work with the networking and software engineering groups
  • Lead the efforts to maintain and develop Information Technology systems and networks companywide
  • Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Infrastructure Engineers to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding infrastructure to meet business objectives
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures
  • Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Infrastructure Engineering
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with technologies related to container management
  • Experience with automation scripting (terraform, ansible or python)
  • Banking industry experience

Job Expectations:

  • Must be able to work onsite at one of the posted locations

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
