Closinglock was founded in 2017 by Andy White, CEO, and his wife, Abigail White. The company is headquartered in Austin, TX, with an office in downtown Austin. Today the company has grown to 80+ employees across product & engineering, sales, partnerships, customer success, marketing, and finance.

The Role
As Engineering Manager , you'll lead and grow a high-performing team of engineers. You'll work closely with product, design, and leadership to deliver high-impact features and infrastructure, ensuring both technical excellence and timely execution.
You'll be key in scaling our platform, improving developer velocity, and building a strong engineering culture grounded in collaboration, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers
• Drive engineering projects from concept to delivery, ensuring code quality, scalability, and performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and GTM to plan, prioritize, and execute on our roadmap
• Establish engineering best practices and promote a culture of technical excellence
• Balance hands-on technical contributions with people management
• Help shape our engineering processes and tools as we scale

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, 2+ years in a leadership role
• Strong experience with a variety of tech stacks (we're built on Python, Vue, and AWS)
• Experience working in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment
• Ability to balance speed and quality in a fast-moving environment
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Bonus: Experience in the PropTech, FinTech, or marketplace domain

This is a full-time, in-person position in our Austin, TX office.
