Group Summary:
The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Model Development: Design and deploy machine learning and deep learning models tailored to IoT data, focusing on predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and performance optimization.
- Data Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to process large volumes of real-time and historical sensor data.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate IoT data into actionable insights and integrated solutions.
- Algorithm Optimization: Enhance the performance and scalability of algorithms, ensuring they meet the demands of production environments.
- Research & Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in IoT analytics and machine learning, applying innovative approaches to solve complex challenges.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to the divisions, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
Professional Experience and Education:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education.
- Minimum of 3 years in data science/model development roles, with at least 2 years focusing on Industrial applications.
- Experience in Industrial IoT (IIoT) applications, such as smart manufacturing, predictive maintenance, and industrial automation.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including:
- Containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, GitHub actions.
- Monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Version control systems like Git.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in Python and SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
- Knowledgeable of statistical methods such as regression, probability analysis, risk analysis, statistical process control, clustering is desired and basic AI fundamentals
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with edge computing, real-time data processing, and digital twin.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in time-series analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
