Mobile game developer SciPlay announced the opening of its new studio in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The company specializes in creating social games, with seven titles under its belt spanning casino and casual games.
The company’s newly renovated studio spans 27,000 square feet and marks a $4 million investment in the Cedar Valley region. The facility incorporates collaborative spaces, a design focused on wellness and a new Level Up Lounge, a space designated for meals, meetings and celebrations.
“Cedar Falls has been SciPlay’s home for over 25 years,” Josh Wilson, CEO of SciPlay, said in a press release. “As we’ve grown into a global company, we’ve witnessed the Cedar Valley emerge as a burgeoning hub for technical and creative talent.”
With 145 employees in Cedar Falls, SciPlay is actively growing its team across game development, engineering and analytics roles as it eyes expansion. The company will also continue to develop and scale its leading title, Jackpot Party Casino Slots.
